He recently received a presidential appointment to the NGO Board of Malawi where he chairs the Operations and Compliance Sub-committee. He received a post-graduate diploma in Cross-Cultural Communications from the Africa Institute of Christian Communications (an affiliate of Fuller Theological Seminary in the USA), Johannesburg, South Africa; post-graduate diploma in Mass Communications from University of Leicester (UoL), UK, where he also obtained his MA in Mass Communications and a BA in Biblical Studies and a minor in Mass Communications from the African Bible College, Lilongwe, Malawi. He has received various professional trainings and exposure in media research; investigative journalism; economic and business journalism; information and strategic public health communications and behavior change communications from various training institutions and organizations like the Panos Institute, City and Guilds of London, Channel Africa, Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, Center for Communication Programs (CCP), World Association of Christian Communications and the World Bank Institute where he has also co-facilitated video conference courses in Journalism and communications.
